Make a difference by raising money to unite families and children affected by Hemiplegia
At Hemichat, we are very proud to be supported by organisations such as Lloyds TSB Banking, Shell UK, Santander and Legal & General .
The following are details of some of the support from our community fundraising events.
Massive Thank You to everyone at Leoni Wiring Systems in Newcastle Under Lyme who raised an amazing £1500 for Hemi Chat through a number of events. One of our mums, Kate McDonagh, was delighted to be presented with the cheque on our behalf.
Thank you to one of our children, Jessie Wade-Rathbone, and her family, who held a coffee and cake afternoon and a shopping party, raising a fantastic £362.50!
Massive Well Done and Thank You to one of our mums, Emily Seyler, who took on the challenge of running 1000K in 2014. Emily completed 32 races, park runs and virtual 5ks raising £799.83!
Huge Thank you to one of our granddads, Leonard Speck, and all at Hitchin and District P.G.L. of the R.A.O.B. (Willian Oak, Hydewick & Cecil Glenvum Lodges) who chose HemiChat as their charity of the Year 2014. We were delighted to be presented with a cheque for an amazing £1436!
Massive Thank you to the staff at Lloyd’s Bank PPI Operations in Speke and Chester who held a ‘Wear a Onsie to Work’ day. Along with the Match funding provided by Lloyd’s Bank they raised an impressive £2384.00!
Thank you to Jen McCourt who ran the BUPA Great Birmingham Run in aid of Hemi Chat, raising £124.92. Thank You!
Huge Well done and Thank You to one of our children, Alicia Holly, who raised £200 with a bike ride. Also to her mum, Lynne, who organised a non-uniform day at St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School in Warrington, raising £150!
Massive Well Done to our Hemi Chat team, including 3 of our mums, who took part in the Bullock Smithy Walk raising an immense £3977.74!! Thank you to all involved!
Huge thanks to the NCS Youth Connexions team in Stevenage who held a family fun day and gig for HemiChat raising £471.76! Special thanks also to one of our member’s sons, Ashley O’Rourke, for nominating us. We were delighted to be presented with a cheque by the team at a special presentation.
June saw a number of our children take part in our 1000 Miles of Smiles campaign, where they walked, ran, swam or cycled a set distance. They raised a massive £1886.16 between them!! Well done to all those who took part.
Thank You to Shepherds Primary School in Rickmansworth and one of our little stars Codie Glasson. They held a Purple Day in aid of Hemi Chat and raised £252.75!
